Can the discharge be reduced in the field to a 2-1/2" discharge without harming the pump? Secondly, if this can be done would the pressure increase without harm to the pump? We need this for field testing some products we manufacture.
1 answer-
ProductExpert6· 3 years ago
The pump could not be reduced to 2 1/2" discharge. It would cause back pressure and damage the pump.

Would this work to pump clumped seaweed out of a marina
We have a marina that gets inundated with sargassum seaweed that can pile up quickly. Would this work to pump it out?
1 answer-
ProductExpert31· 8 years ago
While it may be able to pump seaweed, it is possible for longer lengths of seaweed to wrap around the impeller causing it to not properly pump until it is cleaned out.

Can this pump be used with a fire nozzle on the discharge line?
1 answer-
ProductExpert13· 8 years ago
This pump is not designed to be used with a fire nozzle. The back pressure would damage the pump. A high pressure pump like item 106471 shown below would work better with a fire nozzle.
