  1. Can this this pump be used to suck solids off the surface of a tank? Kind of like a vacuum cleaner:)

    1. This pump can be used to suction fluids that are mixed with solids such as sand, silt, mud, and sludge. As long as the pump is not run dry it could be used in the same manner as a vacuum. It needs a constant flow of liquid to keep the pump from overheating.

  2. Can I use reducers to use a 2 inch input and 2 inch output rigid hose?

    1. We do not recommend this type of modification as this could cause back pressure and damage the pump, and would also void the warranty.
