    1. The maximum amp draw for this IPT by Gorman-Rupp Submersible Shredder Sewage Pump is 16 amps.

  4. What model float switch do you use with this pump?

    1. There is not a float switch available for this Gorman Rupp pump. Any hardwired float can be used on this. You have to make sure that the switch is up to 16 full load amps.

  5. Can this pump be used with a float switch? If so does Northern sell one? I need to pump sewage about 400 feet. Will this pump handle this?

    1. There is not currently a float switch available for the sewage pump. In addition, the pump is rated for a max total head of 60 feet and would not adequately move water or material 400 feet.
