  2. Can this pump be used from a large water storage tank to a pressure tank with a pressure switch to turn off the pump when the set high pressure is reached? And turn it back on when the low set pressure is reached.

    I want to lift one foot and irrigate at the max flow for several hours. Will this pump handle that without getting overheated.?

    1. This IPT water pump does have a maximum lift of 20 ft. with a maximum total head of 130 ft. It is designed to be used for irrigation applications and has a continuous duty motor.
