    1. This pump is equipped with a flapper valve to eliminate re-priming after each use. It will need to be primed for initial use and if completely dry.

  2. Is this pump suitable to be used with a gasoline engine to pump water from a well exceeding 25' in depth? If so what are the HP requirements?

    1. The pump has a maximum priming lift of 20 feet. Anything more than that it would not work. It can be used with a gasoline engine. It would require a minimum 2 HP with 3600 RPM.
