My battery has been in the garage all winter and it has not been on a trickle cell charger. I never know if I should be charging this battery at a 40 amp rapid charge or 2 amp slow charge and for how long?
1 answer-
ProductExpert11· 2 years ago
When choosing a battery charger, you will want a charger to be 10-20 percent of the Ah rating of the battery. Charging a lead acid battery, a 2 amp charger is best. The lower amp will take longer to charge the battery, but will extend the life of the battery.
