  1. Does this mix with standard oils used before

    or do you need to flush out exisiting oils

    1. For best results, you should drain old or existing oil before replacing with new.

    2. It is best not to mix used mineral oil and synthetic oil in the same application, better to drain the oil old out and clean the crankcase and good as you can and replenish with synthetic.

  2. Is there a regular All Season Select and a T-30? I only see this one on your site, is this the recommended oil for the IR Garage Mate compressor? Thanks

    1. We only carry the all season T-30 Select air compressor oil made by Ingersoll Rand. This oil can be used on the Ingersoll Rand Garage Mate compressor.

    1. T-30 indicates the style of air compressor this is designed to be used in, which is a Type 30 reciprocating air compressor. This is a 20W-40 oil.

  4. Just bought a NorthStar compressor..

    According to the manual your not supposed to use synthetic oil until after break in,..."You may use synthetic lubricants after 50 hour break in". What do you recommend to use for break in?

    1. During the break in process, the recommended fluid is a SAE 30 weight non-detergent pump oil.
