  2. How big of a compressor you need?

    If it takes 18cfm at load?

    1. I use the tool with a 60 gallon, 5 hp, two stage compressor, rated at 14.3 CFM, 90 PSI. My air system is set for 110 PSI. There is a slight decrease is power as the tank pressure drops but performance remains very good. I can run the tool continuously and still have good performance.

    2. To run this tool for hours on end, you would need a min of a 7.5 hp single stage compressor. But most users only use a grinder a short time,stop then continue grinding. With short runs with stopping ,you can get by with a 5hp 2 stage compressor. This what I run and have no problems.

    3. I use it with a 60 gallon/5HP model and it works just fine. Even continuous on, it will kick on and off every minute or so.

    1. This angle die grinder can be greased with a grease gun through the fitting at the base of the die grinder head. Full instructions can be found in the manual that is included with the die grinder.
