  1. Can these be cut shorter? I'd like to try mounting some along the bottom edge of a heavy metal automatic gate, so my small dog won't be tempted to crawl under it. The brush would need to drag along the ground, at some points, and along concrete at others.

    1. The aluminum mounting channel can be cut with a hacksaw, and the brush material itself can be trimmed to fit around hitches, exhaust pipes, or to reduce height for proper ground clearance.
