    1. The tank is ASME certified. It has a maximum working pressure of 200 PSI and is pressure tested to approximately 260 PSI.

    1. The thickness of the tank shell is 0.201" and the thickness for the tank head is 0.174".

    1. The tank works best with a 7.5 hp motor and a pump similar to our NorthStar Air Compressor Pump - 2-Stage 569cc, item 45932.

  4. powder coating on inside of tank?

    I see that the specs mention that the tank is powder coated. I assume that is the exterior of the tank. Is the interior of the tank powder coated as well or is it raw steel?

    1. The interior of this receiver tank would be raw steel. The powder coat would just be on the exterior.

    we have a 80 gal speede air copressor at the school that i work at . the tank rusted threw! we use it to blow the tubes on our coal boiler. trying to figure out if we can replace the tank with this do you have a pdf or some way to figure if this will match up

    1. This compressor tank meets ASME standards and based on the 200 maximum PSI 80 gallon rating should be an excellent replacement for a similar tank. It has four 1 inch National Pipe Thread inlets and outlets and four 1/2 inch anchor holes in the feet as well as a 1/4 inch capped drain on the bottom
