  1. Will this be very sensitive to dirty feedwater?

    I am hoping to use this as a pump for a closed loop boiler system that had some oil in it. Any particles in the water should be very small due to a 10 micron filter protecting it. Is this style pump able to handle small amounts of contamination in the water like this?

    1. The manufacturer recommends the pump for use if a small amount of oil mixes with the water. The pump can not handle any particles. Maximum water temperature recommended is 108 degrees.

  2. Can this be run at a lower power for lower flow and pressure?

    I am looking for a pump that only needs to deliver 6-15 gph at 135psi with input water temperature of around 140 F. Is it possible to just run this pump with a weaker motor to deliver the flow rate I need? It's not for a pressure washer.

    1. Yes, you can put a weaker motor on this pump to drive a lower GPH and PSI. It has a maximum RPM of 1725. You will need to figure at what RPM you will need for your motor to produce the flow rate you need.
