The Hydro Handle HH58BIT 5/8in. Electroplated Diamond Bit is designed for drilling precise holes in tile, glass, porcelain, marble and other hard materials. This size is commonly used for faucet holes, showerhead penetrations and other plumbing or fixture installations. Its electroplated diamond coating provides a sharp and uniform cutting edge that produces smooth holes while reducing chip-out on brittle surfaces. Engineered side holes channel water to the cutting edge and remove slurry to improve cooling, while the lathed one-piece steel body resists stress and vibration under high RPM use. The drill bit achieves maximum speed and life in water-feed setups while also providing dependable results in dry drilling when required. Built with an 8 mm round shank, it fits universally in 3/8in. and 1/2in. drills for direct compatibility on the jobsite.
