Product Summary

Each pump operates off truck or equipment engines. Mounted in line with engine belt 2 groove pulley. 7in. pulley diameter. Takes two type A 1/2in. belts. Clockwise rotation. Foot mounts with two 1/2in. holes. Maximum pressure 3,000. 1 1/4 in. SAE inlet, 3/4 in. SAE outlet.

    Does this pump also have ports on the side that can be used? As in the photo cheers

    1. This pump has two ports that are 1-1/4 SAE inlet on one side, and 3/4 SAE outlet on the opposite side.
      There are no other ports.

    1. At this time, Northern Tool does not offer a serpentine pulley for this hydraulic clutch pump.

  4. what is the recommended minimum horse power required for this unit?

    1. To determine the horsepower required for this pump, you would need to know the GPM and PSI you are going to run it at. Example: maximum PSI of 3000 at 14.5 GPM = 43500 divided by 1371 = 31.7 horsepower.

  5. What is the mounting orientation?

    Can I mount this so the shaft is vertical? Can I mount it any way I want?

    1. This hydraulic pump is only intended to run with the shaft horizontal. The pump should be oriented so the base mounting plate is on the bottom.

    1. Electrical wiring is in place for a connection to the vehicle's 12V DC system using a 15 amp fuse and a separate on/off switch that would be additional.
