Product Summary

The HY-C Type 2 Stove Board is an essential wood burning stove accessory that can be used beneath wood burning appliances or on the wall behind them to protect against intense heat. This Type 2 UL1618 stove board provides non-combustible thermal and ember protection for floors and walls from the intense heat, hot coals, ashes and soot that wood burning appliances can produce. The construction is embossed printed steel and 1/2in. thick, specially formulated fiber board backing. The HY-C Connector Kit (Model #ULCK) and Wall Spacer Kit (Model #ULSK) are sold separately to connect multiple stove boards and to install the stove board as a wall shield.

    1. You may join two or more type 2 HY-C stove boards together using the included connector clips. The clips may be gently tapped into place with a hammer.

  3. Our woodturning stove is setting on tile, but we would like a fireproof or resistant mat or rug to go in front of it as there is vinyl flooring fairly close. Do you want something like that?
