  1. I don’t see anything about this generator being able to run a house well pump. Can it run a 220 well pump?

    1. Depends on the size of the pump. My experience is that it will start a 3HP pump with no problem, but not a 5HP. We use two of them with the paralleling cord to run our 5HP pump.

  2. What is the difference between the 7000 IS model and the 7000 IAG model 

    1. The EU7000iS is the main model number, the sub model EU7000ISNAN is restricted for sale to California, the EU7000ISNAG is CARB compliant and may be shipped to all all 50 states. The model we offer is restricted in California. Please view item 107531 for a model that is suitable for CA.

    2. Per the Honda website, the 7000 IS, is 49 state model only - The, IAG, can be sold/Used in California also - So, the AIG, is a true Anywhere you live model… (also identified as 7000ISNAN OR 7000ISNAG)

    1. At 110 volts this generator would be rated at 41 amps and at 210 volts it would be rated at 23 amps.

  5. can the two 30 amp outputs (120 & 120/240) be used with a wye combining dog bone (two 30's to 50 (I realize there would only be 30 amps on each leg of the 50))? Useful for most/best supply to 50 amp RV plug. (If either leg are GFI, this will not work.)

    1. No, both 30A plugs share the same inverter phase. Combining them with a wye adapter won’t create a true split-phase 240V or 50A service, which can trip breakers or damage the generator. This setup poses safety risks and is not recommended.
