    1. The air guide used to be a steel metal plate with a fixed gasket. This part now will be a large gasket. It is not recommended to cut the gasket down to size.

  9. There is a pink hose (looks electrical)coming out under the muffler that is not on the engine I am replacing. Can someone tell me what that is for?

    1. The pink hose is a carburetor drain hose. Carburetors have this just in case the unit is flooded.
