    1. Yes, you can lock the auto-angling system on the Home Plow by Meyer. The plow comes with a standard locking pin that allows you to lock the unit in a full right or left position when needed.

    1. The blade measures 6 feet, 8 inches wide. The height measures 22 inches.

  3. how do i reset key fob?

    1. Ensure that there is power to the receiver and it is receiving 12 volts. Remove the cover from the receiver. Press the white button until the red light above the button illuminates. Once the red light illuminates, immediately press the up or down button on the remote. The red light should go out immediately and the receiver should now be communicating with the remote.

  4. Is this plow equipped with skid shoes

    I have some areas to plow that have uneven surfaces. (gravel, grassy) Is there any vertical springs or design feature to help cushion a blade jam

    1. This model does not come equipped with skid shoes or vertical springs. Please see product recommendation below.

  5. Can the operator fix the plow in a given angle and preclude the auto angle function if so desired?

    1. This Meyer Home plow is equipped with a fixed angle pin which can position the plow to the left or right. To use the fixed angle pin manually push the plow to the left or right and drop in the fixed angle pin and secure with the hair pin.

  6. What is the difference between model 24000 and 25000? Does 25000 also remotely angle the plow from right to left?

    1. The 24000 plow model's lift mechanism is electric and the blade is powder coated. The 25000 (item #507058) model's lift mechanism is hydraulic and the blade is Teflon® coated. Hydraulic lift systems are more durable and will last longer. A Teflon® coated blade will be resistant to snow sticking to the blade and causing build up. Both models offer the convenience of up and down in cab remote control and auto angling.
