To remove the drawers, you can reference the following steps from the manual. 1). Fully extend the drawer. 2). Push the plastic tab on the right side down and the plastic side on the left side up. 3). While continuing to hold the plastic tabs, grasp the bottom of the drawer and pull the drawer out of the slides. There will be some resistance during drawer removal.
