Thanks for reaching out. There is no minimum stock width as long as the power feeder can press down on it. The main issue will be keeping the stock pressed against the fence, so we recommend using a feather board or board buddies with it.

What is the minimum width of stock that can be run through by this power feeder? I would like to use it to cut rabbets on my router table for wood frame pieces that are less than an inch wide.

IT APPEARS THE BASE HAS 4 HOLES FOR MOUNTING. DOES THAT MEAN IT HAS TO ANCHOR TO THE BED . MY THINKING IS THAT IT CAN BE MOUNTED TO A PIECE OF WOOD AND THEN CLAMPED DOWN TO TABLE FOR USE. WHAT IS THE ANSWER?

Thank you for getting in touch with us. Mounting the Power Feeder onto a piece of wood and clamping it down may not provide sufficient stability due to its weight and the length of its arms. Therefore, we do not recommend mounting it to a board. Instead, we offer the G4175 Quick Holder, which is specifically designed for this purpose and ensures secure mounting.
