    1. From the flanges, where it attaches to the engine, to the back of the muffler measures 8.5".

    1. This muffler does not come with any gaskets and Northern Tool does not carry them.

  3. How much additional height does this add to the engine?

    I am looking to install this on a buggy and have a dry storage container above the engine. I have about 8-10 inches of clearance from the top of the engine to the container, will this fit?

    1. This muffler will add approximately 5 1/2 inches to the height of the engine and since you need approximately 8-10 inches of clearance between the engine with muffler mounted to the bottom of the storage container mounted on your buggy, you should be just fine.
