Product Summary

This is our new Hardin industrial grade variable speed wet polisher / grinder. This professional unit is equiped with an 800 watt variable speed motor and features a variable speed dial for optimal control. You can operate from 700-3000 RPM. After shaping the edge or cutting a sink hole in you slab, you'll most likely want to polish it so that it matches the top of the countertop. This Hardin VSP5 polishing kit with granite and marble polishing pads is the ideal kit for this application. The pads in this kit are not general or "all purpose" polishing pads. They are professional grade 4in. diameter 3mm thick granite and marble pads manufactured with a soft bond resin that releases the diamonds at the proper rate for hard materials. Start the polishing process with the lower grit diamond pads and work your way up consecutively to the final buff pad to achieve that brand new factory shine. When working with the 50 and 100 grit you'll want to pay careful attention. They are the most aggressive grits and can easily change the shape of your material. This unit is equipped with a 5ft. 1/4in. water line that is positioned under the polisher. The end comes with a brass 5/8in. coupling to thread onto a common garden water hose. A standard 5/8in.-11 UNC spindle thread makes it compatible with most attachments on the market. Built-in GFCI (circuit breaker) protects the operator.
