    Ad says it has two speed low & high where's the switch to change speeds.

    1. This Guide Gear food slicer does not have a speed control switch. The food can be sliced between approximately 0 and 1/2”. Achieve desired food slice thickness using the thickness adjustment knob. Settings on the thickness adjustment knob do not represent actual units of measure for food slices.The thickness adjustment knob is located on the lower end of the slicer on the furthest side from the blade.

  3. Where can I get a blade sharpener for this slicer?

    1. The blade for this slicer requires specialized equipment to ensure the blade is sharpened correctly. It would be more cost effective to replace the blade that is available by calling Northern Tool Parts Department at 1-800-657-0516. The part number is FOR57615-9.

    1. This slicer can be used to cut near-frozen meat. The minimum temperature of the meat must be 39 degrees Fahrenheit.
