The GROZ Fuel Filter has a 10 micron paper filter element that filters not only small particles of rust, scale, grit, dirt, and sand, but also removes water mixed with fuel. A see-through bowl permits visual monitoring of fuel flow. Features a durable and lightweight design for easy installation on mobile and stationary fuel tanks and on gasoline and diesel fuel pumps. Filter is rust- and weather-resistant for years of trouble-free use. Separates water from fuel, at a gravity flow of 5 GPM with a 24in. head. The filter element has 366 square inches of filtering surface which delivers more particle retention, resulting in cleaner fuel and fewer costly engine repairs.

  1. Am I correct to assume that 2 ft of head is required to overcome the internal resistance of the filter elements in order to have flow?

    1. A 2 foot of head is required to over come the internal resistance of the filter element in order to have a gravity flow of liquid.
