  1. How to release animals?

    Is there a latch or a clip to temporarly hold the door open when releasing the animal? I don't want to hold the door open with my hand when releasing some critters and I don't want to fumble around trying to reset the door catch with an animal in the cage.

    1. there is a hook on the door to open it with and keep the door open. Always wear heavy gloves like welding gloves or something

    2. Yea a hook to hold the door open .

    3. There is no way to hold the door open without resetting the door catch. A common way to open the door while keeping your hands clear of the opening is to affix a string to the bottom part of the door. After loosening the door latch you can use the string to pull the door open.

    1. The large trap measures 32" long x 11" wide x 12.5" high. The small trap measures 24" long x 7" wide x 7" high.

    1. Once the door is tripped closed, it will stay closed until you release it.
