This Gravel Gear® Men's Class 1 High Visibility 3in.-1 Bomber Jacket is ideal outdoor work apparel. When you work outside, you need to keep two things in mind: visibility and protection from the weather. At Gravel Gear, we've got you covered. We've used some of the best materials and construction techniques we could find to put together Gravel Gear's new High-Visibility 3in.-1 Bomber Jacket. It has a shell made with rugged 300 denier polyester ripstop fabric and a 9.9-oz. removable fleece liner. Both pieces have reflective strips for excellent visibility, so you'll always be safe and seen. ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 Type O, Class 1. Made in China.

  4. What is the difference between a Class 1 and a Class 3 jacket? Which one is warmer? Which one is heavier? Would the warmth to weight ratio be better on the Class 1 or Class 3 jacket?

    1. Safety clothing is classified as Class 1, Class 2, or Class 3, based on the amount of both reflective material and high contrast (orange or lime color) fabric making up the vest. The degree of reflectivity in the tape and intensity of the background fabric colors are specified in the ANSI standard.

    1. Class 1 safety clothing is designed for low impact and traffic areas and is required to have at least 155 square inches of reflective material. Class 3 safety clothing is designed for high traffic areas and requires at least 310 square inches of reflective material that is 12.92 linear feet long and 2 inches wide. This is in accordance with current ANSI standards and OSHA regulations.
