  1. What is the diameter of the base when wheels are folded down.

    The hoist will be used in a narrow aisle having only 34" of width. The base of the Genie Hoist needs to be approx. 30", more or less, to work in our application.

    1. The amount of room needed to setup the base of the lift is definitely a limitation of ours sometimes... i am not sure of the exact span size but it would either be a close fit for you or it would be just slightly too big.

      A technique we have to sometimes use is to open up 3 of it's 4 legs and support it on those 3 legs (obviously with a helper ensuring that it stays upright during this). this will work for many tighter spaces but it becomes a bit of a pain if you have to do it constantly.

      Its definitely a great lift though and has lasted us a loooonnnnggg time. About to pickup our second one of these right now actually.

    2. Each leg on this Genie material lift is 34 inches long so the diameter of the wheel base is over 5.5 feet so it will not work for your application.

  2. How slow and controlled is this? Would it be good to use on unit heaters when you’re trying to line up bolts into brackets?

    1. Under a full load, the lifting speed is approximately 40 seconds. The lift would be able to be used for installing a heater up to a maximum of 300 pounds.

  3. What kind of air compressor do i need?

    What would be the psi and cfm, it's hard to get CO2

    1. The Genie Lift would require 85 PSI to operate and has no minimum CFM requirements although the lower the CFM output the slower the hoist will lift.

  4. Are the hose and controller included with the lift? What exactly is included for the price?

    1. The Genie Super Hoist Material Lift includes: Platform, Co2 tank bracket, pressure regulator, hose and hand control, cylinder assembly, base, legs, leg locks, leg lock springs and casters. It does not include the Co2 tank.
