The Genie battery backup unit offers peace-of-mind to homeowners who need to be able to operate their garage door opener during a power outage. When the power goes out, Genie power goes on automatically. Never be locked out of your garage again due to bad weather or electric company equipment failure. This garage door opener battery backup add-on allows for up to 50 full operations of your garage door when the primary power is out. This backup is designed specifically for the Genie 140 volt garage door openers.
