  2. Will this work with a telescopic wand?

    I want to buy an 18' wand and noticed that many people seem to have issues with the wands delivering the chemical to the spray nozzle. I noticed this product by general pump and their stainless steel injector, this being $40 less. I wasn't sure if it would work as well? Or if this was basicly the same as the stainless steel but a brass alloy that would be just as good?

    1. The issues delivering detergent to the spray nozzle are usually due to the incorrect nozzle being used. This item is made to deliver detergent at low pressure. A low pressure soap nozzle is required to deliver detergent in this manner. This injector is made to be used with no more than 50 ft. of hose, to estimate this correctly the length of the telescoping wand would need to be added to the length of the hose. So, if you are using this item with an 18 ft wand I would use no more than a 30 ft. hose to attach to it.

      The second item that you posted in the link is a high pressure soap shooter. This item attaches to the end of the wand and draws soap under high pressure.

      The one that you select will depend on how you want it to operate, under high pressure or low pressure.

    1. You would adjust the dilution rate by turning the black knob on the injector. It has an adjustable rate of 0-15%.

  5. What is the dilution ratio for 2.5 gal 3000psi electric washer

    Can other chemicals be used, like insecticide to spray trees?

    1. The General Pump Quick Connect Pressure Washer Detergent Injector has an adjustable dilution rate of 0-15% at a maximum pressure of 3500 PSI. You would need to get the chemical composition of the insecticide to determine whether or not it is compatible with the Viton seals and O-rings.

    1. The longest length of hose that should be used is 50 feet.

    I was trying to run this with no nozzle in the wand, and it didn't work. What nozzle should I be using?

    1. You would use the black low pressure nozzle. These are used for all soap injection applications.

  9. 1)how do i draw cleaner into quick connect-simple plastic tube in bucket? 2)will using oxyclean or bleach ruin my wand?

    1. You would install the injector after the pump. When you put your low pressure nozzle in the end of your wand it will automatically pull from the clear tube in the bucket. The bleach and oxyclean can be used with the injector.

  10. How does this connect to which hose?

    1. The nipple end on this General Pump detergent injector attaches to your pressure washer pump outlet and you attach the hose to the female quick coupler end.
