  1. Is a Transfer Switch Available for this Model?

    Generac Model # 5935

    1. The Reliance manual transfer switch #100301 would work with this generator.

    2. Generac does not currently make a manual transfer switch for this application. However, there are switches available that can be used with the XP Series. In order to ensure proper sizing and connection to your electrical panel, we recommend contacting an electrical contractor for further guidance.

    1. The only difference between the generators is that Model 5935 is a CARB compliant generator that has the correct carburetor for the emissions control in California.
