  1. Can this unit be operated manually, with out auto transfer switch?  Also can it be run remotely?

    1. The generator could not be operated manually without the transfer switch. It can not be run remotely.

    1. We offer this generator with either 100 Amp or 200 Amp automatic transfer switches included. Please see our item #105879 and #105880 for these options. Automatic transfer switches can also be purchased separately.

  3. What climate would you recommend purchasing a battery blanket and oil warmer

    1. Per the manufacturer, both the battery pad warmer and the oil warmer turn on at 44 degrees Fahrenheit, and turn off at 55 degrees Fahrenheit.

  4. Can any of these Generac generators be converted to run on gasoline?

    1. The Generac Standby Generators operate on propane and natural gas. These models are not designed to be ran on gasoline.

    1. The generator can run for as many days as it is needed to run.

  6. How long will the unit run at half load on 100 gal propane?

    1. At 1/2 load the generator would use 1.81 GPH (gallons per hour). It would run about 55 hours on 1/2 load. It uses 3.07 GPH at full load.

  7. in the specs for the 14kw unit it is listed to have 158 amp output is this correct ? the math doesn't support this .......

    1. This generator has an output capability of 58.3 amps at 240 volts and 116.6 amps at 120 volts.

  8. What is the hourly fuel consumption in BTU's at full load, half load and no load for LPG?

    1. The BTU's for propane at full load would be 135,000 BTU and 1/2 load would be 90,000 BTU. There is not a rating listed for no load.
