  1. Does it needs monthly maintenance?

    1. Inspect the enclosure, connections, oil level daily when running continuously or before each use. Every 200 hours or 2 years you will change the oil and filter. Check the battery condition and state of charge. Every 400 hours or 4 years you will need to change the oil, filter and air filter. Inspect battery and spark plugs. Replace if needed. Inspect the valve clearances. Maintenance information is included with the generator.

    1. An installation manual may be available from the manufacturer directly. This model will call for professional installation. Northern Tool does not offer installation service currently.

    1. The battery that this generator requires is a 12 Volt, Group 26R 540 cold cranking amp (CCA) minimum or Group 36AGM 650 CCA minimum. At this time, Northern Tool does not offer the battery for this generator.

    1. This generator consumes 3.07 gallons per hour of propane at full load. It would run approximately 32.5 hours on 100 gallons of propane on a full load.

    1. The amp breaker panel in your home will determine the amp transfer switch. Please contact a local electrician for assistance.
