We do not recommend connecting both the 50 amp and the 30 amp twist lock receptacle to the same single load; however, connecting each receptacle to individual loads is acceptable, as long as you are sure that the items you intend to power will not exceed the rating of the generator.

The GP17500 does not have a cold weather kit accessory as the unit features a Winter/Summer valve that will eliminate issues relating to icing of the carburetor or the crankcase breather system. The valve will direct hot air from the engine onto the carburetor during cold weather operation. While starting the unit always ensure that the valve is in the correct position relative to the weather conditions. This Generac portable generator does not offer a natural gas carburetor as an option.
