  1. Further reading tells me it does not come with solar panels or a charger.

    1. The power station does not include solar panels. You would need to purchase them separately. Generac offers a GS100 solar panel for this power station. Currently, we do not carry this solar panel. It will include at 110 volt charger to charge with a wall outlet and a 12 volt car battery charger.

  2. does this unit come with solar panals? How long does it take to charge the battery using solar panels? I am looking to power lights, a garage door opener, and small tools for small repair jobs. maybe a gas heater. Will this unit fill my wants?

    1. This model can be charged by a wall outlet, solar, automobile or generator. It would not include solar panels. The time to fully charge it with solar panels would depend on the size and output of the panel, as well as the sunlight intensity. It would take approximately 3-4 hours to charge to 80%. The power station puts out 1600 running watts. You would need to check the wattage requirement for each appliance you would run on it.

  3. Is this safe to keep in a bedroom for a spare source of power  for an oxygen generator if power is lost? Obviously it would be for temporary power enough to get through a night?

  4. Can you run a portable electric heater with this model

    1. That will depend on the wattage requirements of the heater. Volts x Amps = Watts. That is the equation to determine wattage.

    1. Due to many variables we are unable to give an exact timeframe. The manufacturer has provided this information to determine that. Estimated operating time (hrs) = Capacity (Wh) * 0.8 / Device Load (W).
