With 9400 starting watts and 7500 running watts (Gas), this generator is powerful and versatile enough to power tools for your next DIY project and to provide emergency backup power in the case of an outage.  The GP7500E Dual Fuel is equipped with features that make using the generator easy and approachable.  The simple to use Dual Fuel Dial offers the choice of operating with gasoline or LP gas.   Onboard COsense technology provides powerful protection from hazardous carbon monoxide.  The 420cc Generac OHV engine provides consistent power for multiple applications while an 7.9 gallon fuel tank delivers up to a 10 hour runtime at 50% load (Gas).

  1. can you tell me the cage size without the wheels and handles. I need this to fit into a compartment on a truck

    1. The overall dimensions with the wheel kit is 45.44"L x 27" W x 27.09" H. The dimensions with out the wheel kit are 33.46" L x 22.44" W x 26.38"H. Never run the generator indoors or in an enclosed area.

  2. Am I able to hook this generator to an external fuel tank and have it run off a secondary tank?

    1. It is not recommended to connect the generator to an external fuel tank. Doing so would void the manufacturer warranty if modified in any way.

  3. Does it come with a propane regulator and hose like what is shown in the picture ?

    1. The generator will include engine oil, oil funnel, handle and wheel kit, owners manual, charging cable, LP hose and primary regulator to connect to a 20 pound LP tank.

  9. Can this model generator if running on propane be used safely inside of a large manufacturing plant be used safely without exhausting outside?

    1. Never run the generator indoors or in a partly enclosed area such as a garage. The generator is only to be used outdoors and far away from windows, doors, vents, crawl spaces and in an area where adequate ventilations is available and will not accumulate deadly exhaust gas.

  10. whats the sound level ?

    1. As there is no industry standard set for testing the sound output ratings of a portable generator, Generac is unable to provide decibel rating.. With the low-tone muffler that is featured on the generator it is considered that the sound output of the generator to be comparable to portable models of alternative manufacturers.
