  1. What size wire does it take from the gererator to the transfer switch ?

    1. For a 24kW Generac generator (Model 7324), the power wires between the generator and transfer switch should be sized for a 100-amp load. Typically, this requires #3 AWG copper or #1 AWG aluminum conductors, rated for. A 4-wire system is necessary (two hots, one neutral, and one ground). We recommend professional installation.

  2. what is the fuel consumption rate

    1. On propane, the consumption would be about 1.65 GPH at 50% load and 2.87 GPH at full load. On natural gas it would be about 164 sq ft per hour at 50% load and 235 sq ft at 100% load.
