    1. If this meter gets disconnected, the current reading will stay the same. It will not reset to zero.

  4. This has 2 spades how do I wire it in, does one wire wrap around spark plug wire then other spade wire to negative battery???? Need simpleton answer,

    1. This hour meter can work by the spark of the engine or by any AC/DC 5-277 volt power. If using the spark (inductive) method, just wrap the pickup wire around the outside of the spark plug wire 4-5 times.

    1. The internal lithium battery is not replaceable. The battery life is 12 years.
