Camco's Solid Brass 45-Degree Drinking Water Valve helps prevent hose kinking and strain. It is ideal for RV and residential hookups, and fits all standard garden hoses and faucets (3/4in. – 11 1/2 NH threads). The valve's 45-degree elbow helps eliminate unnecessary stress and strain on hoses. It features a quarter-turn pressure seated shut-off valve for flow control, and a gripper for easy connection to the faucet. The solid brass housing is Compliant with all federal and state level low lead laws. Low lead content certified to NSF/ANSI 372.

    1 answer

    1. When the valve handle is parallel to the flow of the hose or pipe, the valve is open. When the valve is perpendicular (as shown) the valve is closed and the flow will stop.
