  1. Clearance

    Is there enough clearance from where ramps attach to pickup tail gait for a riding lawn mower deck to clear the angle - so you can drive it in to the back of the pickup with ease?

    1. No, not with my truck anyway,I have an f150 and it hangs up pretty bad loading and unloading.

    2. I don't think this would work very well. I tried to use this ramp to load a motorcycle that has about 5.5 inches of ground clearance into my pickup, and the bottom of my motorcycle got hung up at the top of the ramp.

    3. The Five Star Bi-Fold ATV ramp will not provide clearance for loading a riding lawn mower. May we suggest the item shown below for use in loading riding lawn mower.

  2. WHAT IS THE MESH OF THE RAMP? WILL MY LAWN MOWER WEELS FALL THRU THE MESH?

    2. The largest squares on this ramp measure 5 5/16" x 5 1/4". You would need to determine, based on the size of your tires, if your mower wheels will work with this ramp.

  3. What direction does the ramp fold?

    Does the ramp fold down (in) if I get one I would like to layer it with thin wood to use a dolly on it, so would it still fold if I put wood on it?

    1. The ramp folds long ways. A dolly shouldn't be a prob.

    2. The ramp does fold in. If you put a thin wood on the ramp it would still be able to fold.

  4. How does the ramp secure to the tailgate?

    I have a Dodge Dakota Sport. Is it safe to attach to the tailgate without it slipping off?

    1. It attaches to the tailgate with 2 straps that hook to the bumper underneath with hooks and there is a pull type clip on each strap.

  5. How thick are the ramps at the thickest part?

    1. The struts are constructed of 1" square tubing with 0.065" thick walls. The thickest part of the ramp will be 1.5" open and 3" folded.

  6. Height Question

    I am only using this ramp to get my riding mower into my utility shed. It is only about 2 feet off the ground. Will I get hung up at this height.

    1. The Five Star Bi-Fold ATV ramp will not provide clearance for loading at 2 feet. See the ramps below.
