There is not a compatibility issue with unleaded fuel. If the 1" nozzle won't fit your tank, you will need to use this nozzle with a 1" x ¾" reducer.

Can this be used for unleaded fuel? My existing hose is 1 inch.

There is no compatibility issues with using the FRHMN100S nozzle with unleaded fuel, however, you need to be aware of the diameter of the spout on the nozzle.
This nozzle has what is called a leaded spout. The OD of the nozzle spout is 15/16". You should check to be sure that it will fit the fill opening of your gas tank.
The FRHMN075S is the ¾" inlet nozzle, and it has an unleaded spout. This OD of the spout on this nozzle is 13/16". If the 1" nozzle won't fit your tank, you will need to use this nozzle with a 1" x ¾" reducer.
