    Since they make male and female threaded connections for both the male and female couplers. is the a flow direction intended for the couplers? Or does the direction of flow matter?

  3. Adapter required?

    I would like to connect a 2" hose to this coupler. Will I need an adapter to fit inside the female end since it is listed as 2 1/2", as opposed to 2"?

    1. To connect a 2" hose to this CAM action coupler you would need a CAM action male adapter. The use of the male adapters on multiple hoses makes it so you can use this coupling as a quick connect fitting. Please see the recommended items below for the corresponding male adapters.
