  • With a .05” Polyurethane coating encapsulating the web, the harness is easier to clean and more resilient to cuts and burns in harsh work environments. Chest strap keepers for proper positioning. Forged Back D-Ring. Integral loops for waist belt.
  • Inspectable: Tattletale™ webbing has an interior ply of contrasting bright red “strength” yarns that increase webbing strength to 7000 lbs (31kN) and instantly reveal cuts or abrasion. Built-in impact load indicators. Bar-coded individual serial numbers for traceability. Indelible serial number in back plaque.
  • Comfortable: “Floating” thigh stitching reduces binding. Improved geometry brings buckles to front of thigh. Angled stitching for “tailored” sub-pelvic fit. Extra-large back pad eliminates dangerous ‘D-ring droop’.
  • Durable: No elastic webbing. Heat-set labels won’t come off. Corrosion resistant grommets. Extra thick woven (not sewn) seat webbing for added durability.

Product Summary

What is Tattletale™ Webbing? TattleTale™ web is inspectable web. All load-bearing straps in Fall Safe harnesses and lanyards have a red inner core (or a yellow core in black webbing) which becomes exposed when the web becomes damaged by cuts or abrasion. Red that shows through is not a “red light” signaling the user to stop using the equipment, it simply “tells” the user that the equipment needs closer inspection, and where to look. The webbing helps again by giving the Competent Person (the expert) the information needed to judge how deep the cuts or abrasions are, so the seriousness of the issue can be determined.
