  1. What does each number represent? The space between each number is more than 1 inch and not anywhere near 1 foot.

    1. The numbers on the rain gauge are inches. The float in the gauge travels 3.5" for every 1" of rainfall allowing users to easily read and view from a distance.

  3. How do you install? Can you stake in ground?

    1. It would come with a mounting bracket to mount on a fence post or outside wall. It does not come with a stake to stake it in the ground.

    1. It would need to be removed from the mounting bracket. Tip it over to dump it out.
