  1. What/where does it bolt in the bed? There doesn’t appear to be an area to bolt it to.

    1. The model number 14692-04, only works with the 2015-2021 GMC and GM 1500 models. This will bolt to the inside of the truck bed using holes on the internal portion of the box. No drilling is required.

  2. What about the trucks that have the grab bar/handle assist?

    1. The Extreme Metal Products GM Truck Bed Buddy (Model 14692-04) is designed to hold your 2" receiver tube when not in use, but it does not come with a grab bar or handle assist. It bolts in place to keep your receiver from sliding around in the truck bed.
