Product Summary

The Equipto OSHA Stairway provides safe, convenient access to all levels. This galvanized steel stairway system is compliant with the new 2017 OSHA federal standards for stairs. It is completely prefabricated for quick assembly and is one third the cost of building your own stairway from structural steel. Tread features non-skid perforated galvanized grating. Stairway risers are galvanized steel and railings are painted safety yellow.

  1. How far would from the base of the structure would these stairs stick out with a 24" tread, and 44" height?

    1. The distance or the run from the base at 44 inches would be a minimum of 3 feet 3 inches to a maximum 3 feet 7 inches.

    1. These stairs could be attached to a wood deck. The stairway is secured with brackets at both the base and top of the stairs.

  3. Would these be safe to add as exit steps for a caboose?

    The caboose porch landing is 60" H thus we would want the steps to be attached to the landing and end on ground level.
