  1. I have a tender that weighs 480 lbs. Can this help me lift it 22 inches to place it on the swim platform? I understand the rated 500 lbs for this Davit, but wondering if the lifting is only for a short distance and short time, it would work.

    1. The crane itself weighs 100 pounds and would need to be anchored very well. The boom does extend, if all the way in, the weight limit is 500 pounds, if extended all the way out it only has a weight limit of 250 pounds. It would depend on how far you need to extend the boom if it would work for you.

    1. The Marine Deck Crane could be mounted to the swim platform of the boat. You would want to make sure it is strong enough to hold the crane.
