The EMSCO Bigfoot Ice Chopper features a heavy-duty steel blade and an extra-long 48in. handle for extra leverage in clearing ice. This chopper can be used for edging sidewalks, driveways and other places in spring and summer. And when winter hits with heavy accumulations of ice, this powerful chopper crushes it. The extra-long handle allows you to knock down icicles from a distance so you don't risk injury from falling chunks. The edge of the chopper is flattened and widened for effectively wedging out ice. The pointed portions of the edge can be used to crack and separate tougher patches of snow and ice. The tool's shape not only makes it a great scraper and chopper but also effective for various other applications, such as lifting out plant and weed roots.
