To change the trimmer line on this unit, first remove the battery for safety. Cut about 12 feet of 0.095" trimmer line and fold it in half. Insert the folded center of the line into one of the eyelets on the trimmer head and push it through until both ends are even on each side. Hold the trimmer head firmly, then press and hold the POWERLOAD™ button. The line will automatically wind itself onto the spool. Once the line stops feeding and both sides are even, you’re ready to go.
