    1. The fan can be powered by a 12-volt car battery only if you use a power inverter or a dedicated 12-volt DC cord. You would use a standard DC to AC power inverter plugged into the vehicles power inlet or a DC auxiliary cord plugged into the vehicles power inlet into the fan's charging port.
