  1. does northern tools sell solar panels for the Ecoflow DELTA 3 Plus Portable Power Station? If so can you provide a link

    1. Yes, Northern Tool + Equipment does sell solar panels that can be used with EcoFlow power stations (including the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus).

      Visit Northern Tool official website and scroll down to see under “EcoFlow” product list.

    2. The Delta 3 is able to be used with the 400, 160, 110 and 100 watt Ecoflow panels. You can not exceed the 500 watt solar power limit on the portable power station. The item numbers 5070892, 5092320, 5070884 and 5070876 will work with the power station.

  2. Does this powerplant provide consistent 220 voltage

    1. This unit is for 120 volt only, it would not provide 220 voltage.

    2. The Delta 3 Plus provides a pure sine wave AC output with a total power of 1800W (surge 3600W).

      For the US and Canada, the output voltage is 120V only, it does not provide a consistent 220V output.

      If you need a 220V output, we suggest using the Delta Pro 3, which offers the following AC output options:
      1. Pure sine wave
      2. Low-voltage / Single phase:
      4× NEMA 5-20R, 120V~20A
      1× NEMA TT-30R, 120V~30A
      3. High-voltage / Split phase:
      1× NEMA L14-30R, 120V/240V~16.7A
      1× NEMA 6-20R, 240V~16.7A

    1. This Delta power station does not come with solar panels.

    2. The Delta 3 Plus does not automatically come with solar panels. However, if the product description specifically states that it's part of a solar panel bundle, then it will include them.

      We recommend double-checking with Northern Tool (or the retailer you purchased from) to confirm what's included in your package.

    1. The DELTA 3 Plus comes with a base capacity of 1,024Wh and will support one additional battery. The compatible Eco Flow extra batteries will be DELTA 3 Extra Battery, DELTA 2 Max EB, DELTA 2 EB, or DELTA Pro 3 EB. Please contact the manufacturer direct for price and availability of the compatible batteries.

    1. The EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus uses a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP / LiFePO₄) battery.

  7. How many volts charge controller do I need for the solar panel? Does it matter? 12/24/48 volts?

    1. EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus supports solar input of 11V to 60V via its built-in solar input ports, you don’t need a separate “12V/ 24V /48 V” charge controller.

      Just make sure your solar panel (or array) has a total open-circuit voltage (Voc) of 60V or less, and total current no more than 15A per input port, the DELTA 3 Plus built-in solar input will handle the charging safely.

      As long as those conditions are met, your solar setup will work correctly with DELTA 3 Plus.

  8. How to charge it with mi car lighter and how far from the car should it be?

    1. You would need to purchase a cable which connects the portable power station input port and the car cigarette output port separately. There’s no distance restriction when recharging the portable power station by using the car cigarette power. A charging cord would be available through the manufacturer.

    1. The Delta 3 Plus can operate in the following temperature ranges:

      Optimal Operating Temperature: 20°C–30°C (68°F–86°F)

      Charging Temperature: 0°C–45°C (32°F–113°F)

      Discharging Temperature: –10°C to 45°C (14°F–113°F)

      Storage Temperature: –10°C to 45°C (Optimal: 20°C–30°C)

      This means the unit can discharge (operate) in sub-zero temperatures down to –10°C (14°F).

    1. The Ecoflow Delta 3 Plus will include (6) 120 volt AC outlets, (2) USB-A output (fast charge), (2) USB-C outputs, (1) 12.6 V 10 amp car power outlet and (2) DC5521 outputs. The power station can be charged by either a 120 volt AC wall charger, 12 volt DC car charger or solar charger with XT60/XT60i cable.
