    1. The thermostat on the Eco ceramic convection heater has a thermostat that is preset at 72 degrees. You can change the temperature by pressing the + or - buttons until you have reached the desired temperature.

  4. Could I use this heater inside a storage unit?

    Our organization has a Dental Mobile unit and we are in need of an electrical heater that can keep our storage unit warm. Our storage unit is a 700 square feet with a 15 foot ceiling!

    1. The manufacturer does not advise installing this heater in a mobile unit as the heater possibly will not provide enough heat. This would depend on the installation and type of the storage unit.

  5. Can this be programmed to automatically turn down heat while sleeping and heat up before waking?

    1. This convection heater cannot be programmed to reduce the heat output during sleeping hours and raise it during waking hours. It includes a thermostat that can be manually adjusted as necessary.

  6. What kind of paint can be used on this heater? Are there any restrictions? Will regular wall paint resist the heat?

    1. Ceramic ECO-heaters can be painted with acrylic latex paint. Do not paint this heater with an oil based paint as it is a fire hazard.

    1. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar locations where a person might be in contact with water and can also operate the unit. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.

    1. This heater plugs into any standard household outlet. It is not designed to be hard-wired.

  9. Is the heat from the ceramic serface in the form of IR or does it just heat the air surrounding it and thus just conveys the heat by convection?

    I am wanting an heat source for my sun room/green house that is to be built (112 sq ft area by 9 feet high). Would prefer an IR heat sourse rather than a convection heat source.
